🎄Our Merry Thanksmas Animal Celebration was a HUGE Success! 🎉
Yesterday was a happy day as we celebrated the holidays in the best way possible—with our fur babies! Thanks to our amazing team member, Sarah, who led this initiative, every animal in our care got to enjoy a special holiday meal and a new toy to play with!
There were so many happy faces, joyful barks, and purrs of happiness—it was a day our animals will never forget!
We also want to give a massive THANK YOU to our incredible volunteers who helped prepare the meals, passed them out, and showered our animals with much-needed TLC. Your hard work made this celebration truly magical! And to everyone who donated food for this event—YOU made it all possible and we thank you for your generosity!

💔 Meet Noah, a sweet, sad puppy who has been fighting through pain…
He came to us with sarcoptic mange, a painful skin condition that has left him feeling scared. We’ve started his treatment on November 15th, and while his recent skin scrape came back negative, healing in the shelter is very tough for him.
In order to heal, Noah needs extra medicated baths and extra love—something that’s hard to come by here in the shelter. But time is running out.
Noah is on the Urgent List, and we’re afraid that if he doesn’t get out of the shelter, he won’t have the chance to heal properly. Noah deserves so much more than this. He deserves to feel better and to know what it feels like to be loved.
Please, help Noah find his second chance. He’s fighting every day, but he can’t do it alone…

😔 I’m scared and hurting, but I’m still holding on…
I’m Diamond and my leg is broken. They say it’s an old injury to my rear right leg. I try to be brave, but I’m in pain, so sometimes it’s hard.
The shelter says I’m friendly, and they’ve given me some pain meds, but I need a veterinarian to look at me. They think I might need an amputation, and I’m scared.

My name is Ollie and every day feels like a battle in the shelter. I tremble in my kennel, too terrified to even look up. The staff and volunteers have been kind to me, but the truth is, I’m not sure how much longer I can hold on.

This sweet boy came to us in heartbreaking condition. Emaciated, weak, and fighting for his life, Charlie is a fighter – but he needs someone to help him find his strength. He’s friendly, loves attention, and is starting to eat well, but he’s still so fragile.

😔 Hi, I’m Barney… and I’m not sure what’s going to happen next…
I came here as a lost stray, and things have been pretty tough. I’m still learning to trust and I get anxious sometimes, especially when the leash comes out. I don’t mean to be difficult—I just get excited, but it’s hard for me to calm down.
The staff and volunteers here are kind, but they’re struggling to walk me because I get a little too hyper with the leash. I’m not trying to be bad, I promise. I know I can be a good boy. I just need one person to believe in me and to help me feel safe again.

These sweet kittens were found abandoned and alone, brought to our shelter in desperate need of help. They’re too young to be adopted yet, and with their immune systems still developing, they’re incredibly fragile and at high risk in the shelter environment.
The truth is, without a loving foster home, these little lives are in jeopardy. Fostering could be the difference between life and loss for them. These kittens need a safe, warm place where they can grow, thrive, and eventually find their forever homes. And if you choose to foster, all supplies will be provided to take care of them.

💔 Hi, I’m Alex, and I’ve been through a lot in my life…
I came from a hoarding situation where I lived with 17 other dogs. It was overwhelming, and I felt lost in all the chaos. I’ve always dreamed of being part of a family—someone to love, someone to care for me. I love people. I love other dogs. But that place… it was too much for me.
Now I’m here, in the shelter, and it feels like I’m back in that same place. The noise, the uncertainty… it makes me anxious and scared. It’s hard to trust sometimes, and I’m just so tired. I don’t want to lose hope, but I feel like I’m slipping.

Lyric is starting to lose her melody, and it breaks our hearts. She’s been with us longer than any other dog, waiting for her forever home for almost 70 days.
