Doggie Date Recap! 🐶❤️
➡️ Our handsome boy Simon recently went on a Doggie Date. Check out what his lucky dater had to say:
“Simon is a gentle giant who’s very submissive! He’s amazing with people, kids, and appears potty trained. We took Simon for a walk on a secluded trail. We picked it because we know he can be a bit more nervous at first. Simon is very handler oriented! We did trust and confidence building exercises with him by using treats and praise.
Simon would benefit in a home with an owner who can continue to help him come out of his shell. He walked well on a leash, and with some encouragement, he passed by occasional people and dogs with no problem. After walking, we went fishing and he cuddled up and sat on the grass for an hour with no problem. He was nervous when we loaded him into the car but was fine with being picked up to be put in. Overall he’s a great dog who deserves a great home!”

Meet this handsome hunk! He goes by the name of Angelo and he is ready to be your forever love bug! Angelo has been staying with our friends at Fort Bend County Pets – Fort Bend County Animal Services. They have provided him with a lot of love and care, but Angelo is in need of something bigger.. a forever home!
We saw a post on our friends page, they have Year Long Club members (40 of them, 13 of them over 2 years) and Angelo was one of them. We reached out and partnered up and swapped a dog! Doggie Exchange Program within municipalities help the animals get seen by different potential adopters that normally would not see them. These Rottweiler mixed puppies were found in a box next to a dumpster by the police department.
At only 3 weeks old, these babies are very fragile and without fully developed immune systems, they’re at serious risk in the shelter.

Community we need your help.
5 very young pups were brought to us today. It was stated by the finder that they were found near Hwy 225 in our city. It appears that these babies have already suffered so much at such a young age. They are dehydrated, positive for hookworms and sores all over their little bodies. These babies need a hero. Our medical team has started treatments. This is no place for such young puppies, they are in need of a foster, rescue or an adopter that is able to provide the medical and TLC that they need. Please share, together we can give them a better future.
*They seem to be a smaller breed. Maybe chihuahua mixes. Too young to tell without knowing mom. Estimated 5 weeks old.
