I used to have someone who promised to love me forever, but one day, I was tied up and left behind. I waited… but they never came back.
Now I’m here in the shelter, feeling more alone than ever. They say I’m a good boy—sweet and friendly—but I don’t understand why I wasn’t good enough to keep. Why was I abandoned?
I try to be brave, but the truth is… I’m scared. Scared because I’m on the Urgent List now, and I don’t know how much longer I have. I just want to feel safe again, to love someone who won’t leave me behind, even if I may have separation anxiety.
