I feel like a shadow of the dog I should be and you can feel every bone in my body. I barely touch my food unless someone holds it for me, and even then, it’s a struggle. My rough coat tells a story of neglect, but I still carry a flicker of hope deep inside.
The kind souls here say I’m sweet, and they’ll even cover my heartworm treatment for someone who can give me a chance. But time is running out. I long for a safe place to heal and rediscover the joy of being a dog and being loved like I deserve.
