We are saddened to announce the passing of retired Pasadena Police Officer Lawrence Kello.
Lawrence grew up in Pasadena and after graduating from high school, joined the U.S. Navy. He served in Vietnam on the U.S.S. Point Defiance and earned a National Defense Service Medal and a Vietnam Service Medal with bronze stars.
He then joined the Pasadena Police Academy in 1972 and served in law enforcement for 37 years. Larry will be missed by many and will be remembered for his adventurous spirit and service to our community.
