PPD’s Chief Wright recognizing true blue excellence throughout the department.

 Recently, Chief Wright recognized several officers and divisions within the Pasadena Police Department for their positive impact on the Department and the community.
Officer T. Cannon received a Community Impact Award for his considerate and thoughtful gesture in assisting a local family at a recent community event.
The Records Division received a Unit Citation for their continuous level of support that goes far beyond the administrative and paperwork side of policing. They were recognized for their hard work, dedication, and exceptionally positive attitude toward police officers and the citizens of Pasadena.
Officer J. Mitchell received the Distinguished Service Award for taking action and placing himself in harm’s way to protect and render aid to a car fire victim.
The Texas Victim Services Association recognized the Pasadena Police Department for strengthening its trauma-informed care and was awarded a Gold Level Participant in the Texas Victim Friendly Initiative.
Lastly, four divisions were awarded with the Chief’s Citation: Violent Crimes, Crime Scene, Media Relations, and Crime & Intelligence Analysts. Chief Wright expressed his appreciation for each division’s professionalism, commitment, and compassion in coming together as one team to bring comfort to victims and their families.
