Precinct 8: They found that little boy that went missing the other day in Minneapolis, MN.

On February 29, 2024 at around 2:30 PM CST, our agency was notified that Noah Johnson had been located in Minneapolis, Minnesota and was being evaluated by medical personnel in that city. His mother, Kamilah Johnson, was taken into custody by the Minneapolis Police Department on an active arrest warrant filed by this agency for a felony charge of Child Endangerment, which was filed in the 185th District Court here in Harris County.

On February 8, 2024, an Amber Alert was issued in the Houston area, which was later expanded to a statewide alert, in an attempt to locate Noah. Amber Alerts were later issued in the states of Missouri and Minnesota over the course of the last three weeks as new information on Noah’s possible whereabouts was obtained.

At this time, we can report that Noah is safe and is getting the medical attention he desperately needs. It is unknown at this time if or when he will be brought back to Houston. In addition, Kamilah Johnson is currently in the custody of the Minneapolis Police Department awaiting the extradition process back to Harris County.

We would like to thank the many local, state and federal partners who assisted over the last 3 weeks in locating Noah. These partners include:

• Houston, Kansas City and Minneapolis field offices of the FBI
• Kansas City, Missouri Violent Crimes Task Force
• Minneapolis, Minnesota Police Department
• Texas Department of Family Services
• Minnesota Department of Family Services
• Texas Center for the Missing
• Texas DPS Fusion Center
• Texas Rangers

Our goal from the beginning was to make sure Noah received the medical attention he needs and we are thankful he was located today so that this may finally happen.
