SUSPICIOUS PERSON CALL LEADS TO ARREST OF WANTED SUBJECT
On Wednesday, April 24, 2024 at approximately 5:56 PM, Precinct 8 Deputy Rabago with Constable Phil Sandlin’s Office was dispatched to a suspicious persons call at Home Depot located at 18251 Gulf Fwy. Upon arrival, the subjects were located and identified. One of the subjects was identified as 17 year old Andrew Joshua Smith. A check of Smith’s information revealed an open felony warrant for Smuggling of Persons through Kinney County Sheriff’s Office.
Smith was placed in custody for the warrant and transported to the Harris County Joint Processing Center where he is awaiting transport to Kinney County.
