On Thursday, November 30, 2023, Precinct 8 Deputy Rivera with Constable Phil Sandlin’s Office attempted to initiate a traffic stop on a vehicle traveling at a high rate of speed in the 2300 block of the E Sam Houston Pkwy S. The vehicle failed to yield and a pursuit ensued. The vehicle exited at Woodforest Blvd and continued traveling westbound at a high rate of speed and disregarding red lights. The vehicle lost control at the Wallisville Rd intersection and crashed into two vehicles. The driver of the vehicle was apprehended and identified as 18 year old Nathan Sandro Flores.
The Harris County District Attorney’s Office was contacted and accepted charges for Evading Arrest/Detention with Vehicle. Flores was transported to the Harris County Joint Processing Center where his bond was set at $20,000.
