The La Porte Police Department is seeking the help of the public to identify the female depicted in the photo and video(video to follow in separate post). On Monday, 04/01/24, during the daytime hours, a female entered the And Sew it Began business located at 212 W. Main St. in La Porte. The suspect went behind the counter where the register was located and took approximately $400 in cash while the store employee was away from the counter. The suspect soon left the store on foot and it appears no vehicle information was located on surveillance footage.
