Last night the baby dropper Stork, dropped a load at the Animal Shelter. Get ya one and learn the true meaning of “go pee!”

A whole lot of cuteness came our way at the end of the day today! 😍 And as much as we love staring at these sweet faces and watching their adorable puppy antics, we want to get them out of here as quickly as we can, so that they stay healthy.

There are seven puppies in total. Mom is a German Shepherd, and Dad is most likely a Husky. The pups are six weeks old and 100% adorable.

Please help us and them. Share this post, or contact us if you are interested in fostering or adopting!

No name happy go lucky puppy is waiting for her fam. Go get her!

You can tell at a glance that this cutie has plenty of personality! She kept us all entertained as she bounced around, exploring every inch of our lobby and jumping up to greet up everyone with her puppy breath and enthusiastic kisses.

She is a 14-week old German Shepherd mix who doesn’t have a name yet. She needs you to give her one, along with a loving home and plenty of cuddles!

Memorial advertising and yearbook students are planning an AD campaign for the Animal Shelter

Thank you to the Pasadena Independent School District students who came to visit earlier this week! A group of advertising and yearbook students from Pasadena Memorial High School toured our facility, started planning an advertising campaign for the shelter and even did a podcast with us.

They had some really great, innovative ideas, and we can’t wait to see how the campaign turns out. Some of the students will even be volunteering with us in the near future.

Thank you to all of the students and to their teacher, Ms. Villanueva, for your partnership and support of the shelter! We enjoyed having you here, and so did our beautiful Casey. We are looking forward to working with you guys more in the coming weeks!

Well, this is sad as awe get out. Today’s photo session with Liberty was short.

Instead of snapping a bunch of pictures, we ended up sitting on the floor, talking soothingly to her, showing her affection and earning her trust.

We don’t know this sweet girl’s story, but it’s clear that it hasn’t been a great one. She army crawls if she gets scared, and if you make a sudden movement above her, she flinches.

But whatever her past is, it hasn’t broken her.

She never growled. Never snapped or even nipped. And after a few minutes, when she relaxed a little, the cutest little personality came out.

She is calm and loving, and if you are the person who shows her what love is supposed to look like, she will be the most devoted girl.

Liberty deserves to see what life can — and should — be like. Please come show her.

Demi Chief of PPD yesterday, back in prison today. Help get her bounced!

😄

Aside from being a bigwig, Demi also has a big heart. She loves to be around people more than just about anything. She greets everyone with a wagging tail and a friendly smile.

On her date at the police station, everybody fell in love with her, just like all of the staff and volunteers have here. Several people commented that they couldn’t believe she was at the shelter and that nobody had adopted her.

We can’t either. Demi is smart, sweet and playful. She’s good with people and with other dogs. And she is just gorgeous! She’s estimated to be about three years old and is a German Shepherd mix.

And while she can’t get you out of any speeding tickets, she can give you plenty of love and is pretty much guaranteed to be the best friend you could ever hope for.

Stop by and meet her today!

Spots got a photo shoot at the Pasadena Fire Department. Do you have a spot for him?

Now he’s ready for his biggest dream of all to come true: to find a home of his own. One that isn’t just pretend, but where he really belongs and can stay forever.

This Dalmatian mix is about a year old and gave out about as many kisses as he has spots! He’s a total sweetheart who did great on his leash and was extremely well-behaved. He was all smiles, kisses and cuddles!

If you’d like to meet Spots and help make another wish come true for him, please stop by and see him!

Billy used to deliver coffee for Starbucks. He was recently let go. You have never seen a dog this calm unless it was sleeping. Please, go adopt him!

After seeing today’s pictures of Billy, we are convinced he may be part seal. 🦭 One thing there’s no doubt about is that he is definitely 100% love bug.

This big guy is a big fan of cuddling, giving kisses and just all-around showing his love and adoration.

Squeaky toys are also way up there on his list of favorite things. Show him a toy, and his day is made. Throw it for him, and he’s ecstatic…so much so that he sometimes gets too excited to remember to actually bring it back. 😄 (See the video in the comments below.)

He loves people (especially the ones who give him snuggles and throw toys for him) and is good with other dogs. He is strong but doesn’t pull too hard on the leash.

He’s just an all-around good boy who has so much love to give but no one to give it to.

If that person is you (even just short-term as a foster), contact us today. We’d love to hear from you. So would Billy.

We all need a little extra Jesus in our lives. Let Carrington be the shepherd of Shepherd love. He’s ready to go home.

Carrington is a guy on the go. He loves to be active and on the move. So, needless to say, he is not loving shelter life. He sometimes gets passed by because he is frustrated in the kennels, and it can show. But once you get him out, he’s a completely different dog.

He loves to play, to say hello to everyone he meets (both human and canine), and he only stops long enough to come by and give kisses to let you know how much he loves and appreciates you.

He’s about a year old and is a German Shepherd who is dreaming of spending his days any place except here.

So far, nobody has looked past his frustration to see what an amazing dog he is.

If you can, he would love for you to come by and meet him. Ask for Carrington (A158056).

Help Kayce find his forever home. His foster mom says he is a first-class guy.

He might be a little shy at first, but he warms up quickly and then loves nothing more than snuggling and cuddling.

Kayce is a male (or in this case, mail 😄) dog who weighs about 35 lbs. and has been neutered. He is about a year old and has done extremely well with cats and dogs.

His foster family has been amazing with him but they are not able to keep him much longer, so we need to find him his forever family fast!

We can pretty much guarantee he will be one of the best deliveries you’ll ever get. Email us today at [email protected] or call us at (281) 991-0602 and let us know you are interested in meeting Kayce (A157814).

What a fun looking Jude. Inmate (A156757)

This is Jude, and his heart is even bigger than his ears! He is a total sweetheart who loves to gives kisses, hugs and cuddles, and always has a smile on his face.

He knows how to sit and loves toys, although one with a particularly loud squeak made him duck his head behind us and peek out cautiously. He loved watching everything that was going on around him and being with people.

This gorgeous boy is a German Shepherd mix who is estimated to be under two years old. Somehow, he has been in the shelter for more than 100 days, and we want today to be the day that he finds the place that he calls his own.

Come to the Pasadena Animal Adoption Center at 5160 Burke Rd, Pasadena, TX 77504 and ask for Jude (A156757).

Jack from a couple days ago has been freed! 👏

Several of our dogs left today. Some were adopted, others went to rescues, and a few left for transport. Many who are still with us got to get out and enjoy the sunshine, thanks to our incredible volunteers.

We just want to say thank you to everyone! From our staff members to our volunteers to our fosters to our rescue partners to all of you who take the time to share and comment on these posts, you are all a huge part of helping the animals in our community, and we appreciate each and every one of you!

Shelby left as a puppy and returned as an adult. Take one for Shelby!

Shelby already had the day all shelter dogs dream about: she was adopted. She was here as a puppy; now she’s back as an adult and we are determined to give her a second chance at finding a home, one that will truly be her forever home.

As you can see from the smile on her face, Shelby is a super sweet girl. She saw another dog in the yard next to hers and wanted to play so badly.

Shelby is estimated to be just under a year and a half old. She is probably confused about where she is and why she’s here, so let’s get this beautiful girl out of the shelter and into a new home fast!

But even with hundreds of likes and shares, Jack is still here, waiting. 😭 The limit is only five, get him.

When we had Jack out yesterday, all he wanted to do was look out the window at the people and cars passing by. It’s like he knew he was featured on this page earlier in the week and was just waiting for his new family to pull up and take him home.

But even with hundreds of likes and shares, Jack is still here, waiting.

He is the most gorgeous boy. Like we said in our post on Monday, everyone who sees him comments on what a good-looking dog he is. This sweetheart is a staff favorite too. He is friendly with people and with other dogs.

Jack wants to look out of that window and see his future. If that’s you, come by the Pasadena Adoption Center today. He’s ready.
