Doobie’s Homecoming Parade and Parking Lot Party Wednesday Sept 27th 5pm.

Our Homecoming Parade will be Wednesday, September 27, at 5:00. We will follow our traditional route, beginning at the corner of Blackhawk and Southbluff. The parade will continue up Blackhawk to Hall and then back to the Dobie band parking lot for a parking lot party! There will be a DJ and food trucks. We hope to see everyone there!

With an amazing cook-off weekend behind us, it is time for our transition week into RODEO!! The 74th Annual Pasadena Livestock Show and Rodeo will kick off this FRIDAY, 9/22, with an action-packed PRCA Rodeo, Carnival, food trucks, vendors, and PECOS AND THE ROOFTOPS on the main stage!

After all the excitement in the arena, be sure to stick around and head to the Silver Spur club for even more LIVE MUSIC with Al White. Our Silver Spur club is located in Campbell Hall and welcomes all Rodeo fans 21 and up!

We would also like to give a quick, important shoutout to all of our PLS&R volunteers that have been working diligently for months on end to ensure this Friday kicks off without a hitch. We appreciate each and every one of you, and all of ya’lls hard work does not go unnoticed. THANK YOU.

On Saturday, September 9, 2023, we posted about a fatality crash at the intersection of Beltway 8 and Crenshaw Rd. Since then, our CRASH Team investigators have been working diligently to piece together the events that led to the fatal incident. The individual in the images below is a motorcyclist who is likely a witness to the incident, and our detectives would like to contact them. Help Precinct 8 Walk Like MADD 2023 held this weekend on September 23rd.

Sergeant Toliver attended the MADD 1st Responder Support Team monthly meeting. Precinct 8 enjoys a long-running and close working relationships with our partners at Mothers Against Drunk Driving. Constable Phil Sandlin and his deputies are committed in combating intoxicated driving and helping to make our roadways safer to the public.

The Walk Like MADD 2023 event will be held this weekend on September 23rd. This fundraiser supports Mothers Against Drunk Driving and their goal of raising critical funds to fight the 100% preventable crimes of drunk and drugged driving.
