This summer at Rice University, South Houston students forged lifelong friendships while mastering STEM skills and celebrating Jesus’s Carbon Panels presentation.

This summer our students had a life changing experience at @Rice University through the Tapia STEM Camp. They not only improved their STEM and communication skills, but also developed friendships with other campers from around Texas and the world. They were inspired by college students, professors, industry experts, and Dr. Richard Tapia! All of our students excelled this summer, with Jesus Aguilera receiving 1st place for his camp performance: Carbon Panels Presentation.

Thank you to the @Richard Tapia Center for Excellence and Equity in Education, ExxonMobil, and the Pasadena ISD Multilingual Department for their generous sponsorship.
