Dobie has lost a true legend in Coach Ranft, who dedicated 27 years of his life to Dobie and students.

Dobie Community and Alumni,

It is with deep sadness and heavy hearts that we inform you of the passing of Dobie’s long-term substitute, Howard Ranft, who passed away unexpectedly over Memorial Day Weekend. Coach Ranft has been a substitute here at Dobie since 1997, which is 27 years. He was a part of our family, he bled burnt orange, and he loved the kids. Dobie was his extended family. 🤘🏼🧡
