This summer at Rice University, South Houston students forged lifelong friendships while mastering STEM skills and celebrating Jesus’s Carbon Panels presentation.

This summer our students had a life changing experience at @Rice University through the Tapia STEM Camp. They not only improved their STEM and communication skills, but also developed friendships with other campers from around Texas and the world. They were inspired by college students, professors, industry experts, and Dr. Richard Tapia! All of our students excelled this summer, with Jesus Aguilera receiving 1st place for his camp performance: Carbon Panels Presentation.

Thank you to the @Richard Tapia Center for Excellence and Equity in Education, ExxonMobil, and the Pasadena ISD Multilingual Department for their generous sponsorship.

Parents, make sure all RankOne paperwork and physicals are completed for your athlete.

Parents/Guardians and Athletes:

High School Football, Volleyball, Cross Country start on 8/5! The athletic training department will to need have all RankOne paperwork and physicals completed before athletes are able to begin try-outs and practices. All other athletes, both Intermediate and High Schools, your physicals and RankOne paperwork will need to be completed and turned in on or before the first day of school.

The link below is for the RankOne paperwork. This should be completed by an adult, not the athlete. If you have a question about either one, please contact your campus athletic trainer

Link: https://pasadenaisd.rankone.com/New/NewInstructionsPage.aspx

If you have a physical to turn in, athletes at the high school will need to turn it into the athletic trainer and intermediate athletes will turn it into their intermediate coordinator. We are excited to get everyone back on campus, and get this year rolling. Let’s make this a wonderful year.
