• Travis is currently an assistant professor of dance at UH and continues to serve the Houston dance community.
• He has also served as a faculty of dance at Lamar University (tenured), Sam Houston State University and Southern Methodist University.
• He has produced local and national works for numerous arts and dance events.
• As a performer, Travis Prokop has been featured on national television for the FOX broadcasting shows So You Think You Can Dance (Season 5) and American Crime (Season 2, Episode 5).
• Professor Prokop has performed nationally and has also performed for various dance companies here in Houston.
During his visit, he did a Q&A with the Jannettes and talked to them about the University of Houston’s dance program, and what all it has to offer, along with scholarship opportunities.
