Central Library is having informative Diabetes Prevention classes on Tuesdays 2-3pm throughout August.

The Diabetes Prevention series of classes at Pasadena Central Library has split into two, and space is available to join in the next two weeks. If you are at risk for diabetes because of any of several factors, join Harris County Public Health teachers for weekly sessions on Tuesdays through August 13 (and then monthly through early next year). The class features proven programs in English and Spanish to prevent or delay Type 2 Diabetes, plus fresh produce every two weeks! For more information or to join the classes, please call the library at 713-475-4984 or Christina Garcia with Harris County Public Health at 713-274-7169. Or, sign up at pasadenalibrary.org/calendar.
