Our beautiful girl Wonder, now named MJ, has changed her new family’s life for the better! Check out what they had to say:
“As my mother neared her death, I felt very anxious about what life would be like when she passed. I decided that I would finally adopt a dog.
I had seen Wonder, now known as MJ, on my Facebook feed and had fallen in love with her. She was exactly the dog I always thought I would have. My boyfriend, however, wasn’t too set on her. In fact, she didn’t make his short list because he said she was part Lab, and they can be a handful.
When we met MJ, it was as if she knew she had to win over my boyfriend because she showered him with kisses. Then, she walked over to me, gave me her paw, and laid at my feet. It was pretty clear that she was the one. We took her home that day.
Two months later, we got a kitten and named him Venom. MJ and Venom have been best of friends. When MJ has bad dreams, Venom goes to check on her. When Venom coughs up hairballs, MJ runs to check on him. They both gave me a reason to function when the world felt so sad.
Since adopting MJ, she’s spent some time with the amazing trainers at Tail To Tail Training to help her through her big feelings. She got to attend the celebration after my boyfriend and I got married. She’s been to work with me a few times and has a vast collection of toys from her
BarkBox. And of course, there’s been pup cups, lots of them.
Thank you so much for helping us come together with our beautiful, sweet MJ. Our life certainly wouldn’t be the same without her. We love her so, so much.”
