We’ve put together a helpful list of opportunities to plan ahead for your student’s time away from school—whether for vacations, appointments, or other commitments. We encourage you to review it and make arrangements in advance. Let’s work together to support our students’ success!
We’re kicking off our summer cross country practice on June 9th, running Monday–Thursday from 7:00 AM to 8:00 AM. All athletes should arrive 15–20 minutes early to stretch and warm up properly before we start.
Open to all 9th–12th grade boys and girls at SRHS – no experience necessary! Whether you’re a returning runner or brand new to cross country, this is a great way to build endurance, get stronger, and be part of a supportive team.
Spring sport athletes – this is a perfect way to stay in shape and get a jumpstart on your next season!
Important: All students must have an up-to-date physical on file in order to participate.
Come join us this summer, work hard, have fun, and be part of something great!
If you can’t make it to NRG you can still watch graduation here! Stream will start at 4pm.
Join Pasadena ISD and the class of 2025 live from NRG Stadium.
Supporters of the class of 2025, please see below for a few more graduation day details.
If you need transportation to NRG please call the school at 409-740-0330 to reserve spots.
– All NRG rules must be followed. – With us not having non-graduation side, student processional will look different (this is due to construction happening at NRG to prepare for the World Cup) – Flowers/Balloons are not allowed in the stadium. – Backpacks and large bags that exceed 11”X17” are NOT allowed. All bags are subject to inspection before entry. Necessary diaper and medical bags are allowed, but will be checked by NRG staff. – Parking at NRG will be in the Blue Lot. – Parking is $25 and only credit/debit cards are allowed. No cash. NRG handicap parking and wheelchair assistance – For entry, the best gate to enter is Gate 9 which is off Kirby and Westridge. Handicap parking is in Blue Lot 18 but parents/guests will need a handicap hangtag/license plate or our parking staff will not allow them to park in that lot. NRG does have a wheelchair service that will pick guests up at the front gate (Phillips 66) and take them inside to a seat. They will also pick them back up after the event is over and take the guests to the exit gate (Ford). NOTE: NRG cannot take any guests out into the parking lots or to their vehicles for liability reasons. They can only pick up/drop off from inside the stadium gates. There is not a phone number for accessibility questions, but if they need help have them ask one of the event staff and they will be able to pass along the message to a supervisor. Parking is subject to change per NRG. -Concession stands will not be open.

Our Culinary Club had an incredible experience this past weekend at the Cook Around the World Competition at Walt Disney World! Each team was randomly assigned a region—we got Asia—and given a mystery box with 4 ingredients. With just 90 minutes on the clock, our students had to research, prep, and cook both an appetizer and an entrée.
They worked incredibly hard, showed amazing teamwork, and we couldn’t be prouder of their performance!
Here are our results out of 28 teams in our session (67 total teams): • Appetizer: 17th place • Entrée: 7th place!! • Overall: 12th place!!!
