vs Teachers Ninja Warrior Games – attendance incentive. Soooo much fun๐
Brace yourselves Texans. The final exam heads your way this week, with online tests.
Next week we will be on a final exam schedule from Tuesday-Thursday. All students should bring their device and charger, as well as charge their tablets at home every night as all tests are online. Students with off periods should take special note of the schedule to determine which days they will need to come earlier or stay later than usual. For example, students with 7th period off might need to stay later than normal on Tuesday if they have a test in 6th period and need the whole time to finish it, but will be able to leave at 12:30 on Wednesday. Students should talk to the teachers of those subjects to determine if they will have a final or not. There are no exemptions for these finals.

Hello Texan family! The school year seems to be flying by, so I wanted to remind you to save your students special memories by purchasing school photos and the 2025 yearbook!
School pictures for 9th-11th grade students were done through our partner company, CADY Studios. You can view and purchase your student’s photos at https://home.cady.com/order-photos/
Senior portraits are also done through CADY Studios. You can book your student’s senior session and purchase photos at https://store.cady.com/. The company will only be on campus TWO more times (Dec. 12 and Jan. 16). After that, students must go to the studio. The deadline to get senior cap & gown/yearbook photos is Jan. 26. There is a $10 sitting fee.
The 2025 yearbook is available to purchase for $75. You can buy online at www.jostens.com or send $75 cash to Ms. Donath in room 2210. Payment plans are available on the website. The website is also where you can purchase a recognition ad for the back of the yearbook. These prices range from $25 for 1/8 page to $200 for a whole page. We only reserve 200 copies of the yearbook and we’ve already sold 55. Once they sell out, we DO NOT order more… so get one for your student ASAP!
We hope that you and your student have a happy, successful and rewarding school year. Thank you for supporting our school and our yearbook program!

Rayburn parents, you know who you are. Do better.
Parents, we need your help. We are seeing a lot of students being dropped off late to school, causing them to miss important instruction. If you drop your student off, please make sure you are getting here early enough to give them time to get to class by the 7:15 tardy bell. If they are more than 10 minutes late to class they will be marked absent. If this happens more than 10% of the time (~8 days) your student will start accruing make up time, and could be denied credit for the class, putting them off track for graduation. Doors open for students at 6:45, giving them plenty of time to eat breakfast and get to class on time. Remember, all PISD students get free breakfast and lunch this year. Thank you for your help and support in this matter, please let us know if you have any questions.
