SUSPECT ARRESTED FOR AGGRAVATED ASSAULT WITH A DEADLY WEAPON
On Sunday, November 26, 2023 at approximately 3:59 AM, Precinct 8 Deputy Morgan with Constable Phil Sandlin’s Office was patrolling the 1000 block of Edgebrook Dr when he observed a disturbance at a Shell gas station. Deputy Morgan pulled into the parking lot and observed a shirtless male yelling. The male was detained and identified as 26 year old Antonio Lee Parr. Further investigation revealed Parr was sitting outside of the store when a vehicle pulled up to the fuel station. Parr began to threaten the occupants of the vehicle and proceeded to approach the vehicle holding a metal rod in an aggressive manner. The victims ran inside the store for safety. Parr proceeded to follow the victims and began to strike the glass door with the metal rod.
The Harris County District Attorney’s Office was contacted and accepted charges for Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon and Criminal Mischief. Parr was transported to the Harris County Joint Processing Center where his bonds were set at a total of $21,500.
