Parents, we need your help. We are seeing a lot of students being dropped off late to school, causing them to miss important instruction. If you drop your student off, please make sure you are getting here early enough to give them time to get to class by the 7:15 tardy bell. If they are more than 10 minutes late to class they will be marked absent. If this happens more than 10% of the time (~8 days) your student will start accruing make up time, and could be denied credit for the class, putting them off track for graduation. Doors open for students at 6:45, giving them plenty of time to eat breakfast and get to class on time. Remember, all PISD students get free breakfast and lunch this year.
