This past weekend our Speech and Debate team competed at the East Texas National Speech and Debate Districts tournament. This tournament is to qualify for the national tournament that is being held this summer at Des Moines, Iowa! Only the top 3 finalists at this tournament get to qualify for the NSDA tournament and gladly our longhorns pulled through and Dobie got some NSDA Qualifications!

Yaretzi Martínez qualified for nationals in Dramatic Interpretation🥉
Luis Hernández is 1st alternate in Humorous Interpretation 🎖️
Ciara Williams is 1st alternate in Informative speaking🎖️
