Congratulations to the first graduates of the Basic Citizens Police Academy for 2024. During the past twelve weeks this academy has given the citizens the opportunity to come to the police station and learn what its police department’s functions and duties entail! The academy allows the citizens of La Porte and its public servants the opportunity to work together by educating each other on how to make this community a safer place to live and work.
