The Dobie 9 Art Club took a road trip to NASA, where they connected art with space, met professionals, and saw the sunrise at Mission Control.

The Dobie 9 Art Club went on a private tour field trip at the Johnson Space Center NASA – National Aeronautics and Space Administration campus and explored the many connections between Art and the real world. They met professional graphics artists and video technicians who demonstrated what they did for NASA and how they got to be in their field. They were also up close and personal with space vehicles and watched the sunrise directly on the floor of Mission Control. The winner of the Dobie 9 Patch Design Contest, Isabella Allen, was congratulated and given a large print of her patch as a reward as well as a demonstration on how they might professionally produce her patch in real life! πŸ‘©β€πŸš€πŸŽ¨
