Did you know that under federal law (Title 18 U.S. Code 501), it is unlawful for a person to use, sell or deposit packages/mail affixed with counterfeit postage/stamps in the U.S. Mail?
The Postal Inspection Service recommends purchasing stamps from Approved Postal Providers and authorized sellers. Avoid buying counterfeit stamps on social media marketplaces and third-party vendors, especially if they are sold in bulk quantities at a significant discount.
